Ledyba continues. Miltank gets hurt. So does Ledyba. But Miltank is hit with a critical hit,
Finish Miltank |
Nice job, Ledyba!
Now try this: fly up high and use Silver Wind, and circle above Miltank. Then dive bomb it using Tackle, as well as using Giga Drain! |
Ledyba
flies up and dive bombs Miltank after using Silver Wind. Ledyba then
dives as Miltank blasts its beam again. Ledyba falters in its use of
Giga Drain, but slams into and KOs Miltank anyway.
Level up for Ledyba Steve: Damn it! Miltank return. Go Girafarig! |
Alright, Ledyba, stick with it!
Fly around fast, and then when Girafarig is looking away, fly into that bush. Hide there, then use Silver Wind. If it spots you, move quietly out the back of the bush and hide in the tree. Keep using Silver Wind until it figures out where you are, then fly up into the trees. |
Girafarig
charges straight at Ledyba before it can hide. Ledyba fires a Silver
Wind in retaliation, but Girafarig turns around and starts running
backwards! It's tail turns to metal, it plows through the attack, and
slams into Ledyba for a lot of damage.
|
Ok,
Ledyba, it seems to be much faster than you, and that definitely looked
like Iron Tail... which could take you out pretty easily. So your best
chance will be to use Silver Wind over and over! Of course, try with
all your might to dodge its attacks, and try to throw in some
Supersonics. If it acts strangely, then hit it with Giga Drain. It
won't be quite as effective as Silver Wind, but if you get the
opportunity, gaining some heath would be awesome!
|
Girafarig
runs circles around Ledyba and slams it to the ground with Iron Tail
after running through a Silver Wind. Ledyba flys backwards, slamming
into a tree and floating down as Girafarig speeds forward and slams
into Ledyba with an Astonish attack, knocking out Ledyba with haste.
What pokemon will you send out? |
Ok, Ledyba, you've done your part.
Zubat, let's get this going! Your powerhouse move is going to be Faint attack, so work it into everything you do. Try this: Fly up, so that Girafarig can't reach you, and start to knock things off of the trees. That may be enough to distract it long enough to use Faint Attack for some damage! |
Girafarig
watches Zubat carefully and slowly walks towards it as it begins
attacking trees. Girafarig never takes its eyes of Zubat, and suddenly
lunges up into the air without even moving its feet. Zubat twitches
from the oddness of it all and is hit for minor damage, knocking Zubat
down to the ground.
|
Ok,
Zubat... Stay there and use Faint Attack. Then, use Supersonic to
distract its ears and fly right behind it. while it's tring to switch
heads, fly up so that it can't follow you like before. Then hang out
for a bit and use Faint Attack.
|
Zubat
flaps towards Girafarig, drawing ever closer, before it's wings glow
black and it smacks into Girafarig with Faint Attack. Girafarig uses
Growl as Zubat starts vibrating, distracting it's Supersonic attack and
allowing Girafarig to hit Zubat with Iron Tail.
|
Zubat, I have a new plan.
Use Supersonic without stopping, and fly around. Watch out for Girafarig, and wait until Supersonic has succeeded. When Girafarig is confused, hit it with Faint Attack! |
Zubat
flies around like a mad man on crack, who can also fly, evading
Girafarig's etheral movements until it slams itself into a tree. It
walk staggardly, like a drunk man who cant fly, and Zubat takes the
opportunity to slap Girafarig in the face with its dark wings, its
Faint Attack connecting perfectly.
|
Beautiful, Zubat!
Now, while it's still wigging out, use Leech Life to get a bit of health back. Then use Faint Attack without wasting any time, and fly up into those trees, where you can hide. Wait there until Girafarig has regained its wits. Then use Supersonic again! |
Zubat
flys down and latches onto Girafarig's tail, drawing blood to replenish
its health. Girafarig suddenly stops stumbling around and smacks Zubat
with Iron Tail. Steve grins as he watches.
Steve: Two heads are better than one, right Jeffie boy! |
Oh, I see how it is. Zubat, let's show him that that's not so true!
Start up with Supersonic again and don't let Girafarig block it in any way. Keep at it even for a while after it seems confused. Then, after a good chunk of time, fly right up behind its tail and stay on Supersonic-mode. Fly undeneath it once it notices you're there, and use Faint Attack from a new angle. That should mix it up good! |
Zubat flies around, vibrating madly, but Girafaridg seems unaffected. It actually yawns, getting boted waiting for your attack.
|
Alright
then, Zubat, enact part two of the previous plan. Fly under Girafarig
as quickly as you can, and hit it with Faint Attack.
|
Zubat
banks down and gets below Girafarig, hitting it in the legs with its
outstretched wings. Only after Zubat makes contact does Girfarig move,
jumping forward to bring Zubat into range on its Iron Tail, which
knocks Zubat back a ways.
|
Ok,
Zubat... Fly underneath Girafarig form in front this time, it'll be
more difficult for it to back up as quickly as before. Then hide out
under there and attach yourself to its belly. Use Leech Life to drain
it of all its energy!
|
Zubat
flaps down beneath Girafarig, who jumps up, comes down, and lands on
Zubat before it can latch on. Girafarig then gallops a ways off and
staresdown Zubat before shaking its head and stumbling for a moment.
|
Quick, Zubat, take this opportunity to hit it with Faint Attack while it is regainins its balance!
|
Zubat
swipes at Girafarig with Faint Attack, doing heavty damage. Girafarig
reels and falls to its knees, its head between its legs.
Finish Girafarig |
Before
the battle, I'd like to check to see who will take over for Pingu.
Blue, Rip, I suppose that whomever posts first will be great for me.
Anyway, after another three or four days, I won't be able to post but
about once a week. Prolly mondays, to hit up the day care. But, ah, on
to the battle. By the way, the current battle is with my rival, who
will prolly be finishing with his starter, Snorunt. Or so says Pingu....
~~~ Zubat, nice shot!! Now while it's out of its senses, use Supersonic and land righton its shoulders to transfer the vibrations striaght to it! While you're on its shoulders, use Leech Life, and finish it off with one more Faint Attack! |
Zubat clumsily crashes into Girafarig as it tries to regain balance, knocking it over and knocking it out.
Steve: C'mon Girafarig, I know you're better than that. Whatever. There's no way you'll beat this.... I choose you, Snorunt! |
Alright, Zubat, Stick it out!
Let's keep on the Faint Attack barrage. Start out with a quick Supersonic rush, then nail it with Faint Attack! |
Ermmh, that post always said Snorunt. Really it did.
~~~ Snorunt dodges the Supersonic attack and quickly Leers Zubat. Zubat falters while Snorunt forms rings of water in front of itself and sends them towards Zubat. Zubat is hit, and swoops down to use Faint Attack, but smacks itself in the face instead of Snorunt. Snorunt bounces up and down as snow falls on Zubat, inflicting a lot of damage. |
Ok, so my compy sucks royally.... This is the third time I'll have rewritten this post...
Level up for Zubat? Give my rival's pokemon genders? Tell me to? ~~~ Zubat return... go Machop! Machop, Focus energy, then Leer. Run around a bit, then find an opening... use Rock Slide, and follow with Low Kick! ~~~ So there's the condensed version. I'm off to work. I'ma Lifeguard! |
Part of my compy glows blue now. Happy happy 250 gig external hard drive blue! The rest of it sucks....
~~~ Ermmh, yes. Level up for Zubat. And Snorunt is...male! ~~~ Machop Focuses its energy while Snorunt forms the rings of water again. Machop jumps over Snorunt and drops a Rock Slide attack through the water and onto Snorunt, inflicting massive damage. Snorunt breathes snow at Machop, who jumps through and Low Kicks Snorunt, sending it flying backwards for a helluva lot of damage. ~~~ Lifeguarding. Nifty. I'm taking a lifeguarding class. That I learned starts next week, not this week. |
250 gigs?? Wow... I'm jealous.
~~~ Nice hits, Machop! Now try this out: Start with Leer, Then try to get Snorunt to use Powder Snow. Of course, taunt him with an attack or two of your own, either Rock Slide or Low Kick, be creative, then when that crazy snow comes a'blowin, Stand completely still as though he had frozen you. Now, be careful, though, as you may be frozen for real, so just watch out for that. If you're still cold when you're acting, then go crazy wriggling and writhing and such... but if not, stand all frozen-like, then let him come up close and give him a taste of your foot!! Low Kick style, of course. (disclaimer: 'give him a taste' doesn't actually mean 'kick him in the face,' just 'kick him so hard he tastes it,' or 'kick him so that he falls and gets your foot in his mouth,' or something like that...) At the same instant, be ready with another Leer, which can buy you enough time to get him once more with Rock Slide. ~~~ Thanks for correcting me on Rock Throw --> Rock Slide. I editted my last post to change that. |
You should be. Even though all that's on it right now is UT, Worms, and Eureka SeveN.
~~~ Machop Leers Snorunt before running in and kicking Snorunt on the side of its head. Snorunt shakes itself off and shoots rings of water at Machop. Machop kicks them apart, and they do very little damage. Snorunt blasts Machop with Powder Snow, causing Machop to be very, very, still. Snorunt bounces up and down happily, and begins forming much larger rungs of water than before. It sends them flying forward, and they crash into Machop, sending him flying but still not moving. Looks like Machop really is frozen. Bummer. ~~~ Honestly, I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. I'm doing another Machop battle, and he's using Rock Slide as well. |
Hmm... another thing. Can the other pokemon of my rival's have genders too? Pwease?
~~~ Oh dear... How dost I go about thawing out Machop?? Machop, breathe heavy, and use your warm breath to warm up your muscles. Then wait for Snorunt to react and dodge his attack. Then give him a Leer, and run over to me. I'll toss you up into that tree, and you grab on to it. Then find a nice small branch, and pull it down to the ground. Wait for Snorunt to come close, use Leer again, then let the branch go to smack him. Use that opportunity to throw as many Rock Slides and Low Kicks at him before he can recover from the branch-smack. |
Miltank - Female
Girafarig - Toaster ~~~ You see small drops of water forming on Machop's face, and he appears to be quivering slightly. As Snorunt approaches Machop springs to life and Low Kicks him in the face. Machop then ignores what you said slightly and jumps up into the tree of his own accord. He then proceeds with your plan, which worked except for Snorunt freezing the limb with Powder Snow. So it didn't hit him in the face. Quite the contrary. Snorunt hit Machop with the water. So Machop smacked him in the face with Rock Slide. And then Linux stopped typing. |
Kay-o!
~~~ Machop, what you need to do now is hang out around the frozen branch, and use the same technique to thaw it out. Now, make sure you don't stand in its potential path, but kinda off to the side. Taunt Snorunt over, then give the branch one final heated breath, and get out of the way. That should send Snorunt flying a bit, so you'll have to run to get close enough to give him another nasty Rock Slide-Low Kick combo! When that's all said and done, use Leer to keep him stuck in place, and knock him up with one more Rock Slide. |
Haha.
That tickles me. In a way that if you tickled me that way, I'd say "I
only like you as a friend. Knock it off before I get the hose."
~~~ Machop does what you say and does a lot of damage to Snorunt. So much that it's about to faint. Finish Snorunt ~~~ If you couldn't tell, I'm tired and lazy right now.... |
Oh dear...
~~~ BTW, W00Tage on the fact that you're lazy... Also BTW, was that about the fact that you deemed Girafarig "toaster" and what I subsequently put in my first post? ~~~ Go Machop!! OK, now were gonna be completely reckless and see how he reacts. Wait until Snorunt starts to do something, anything, and then charge straight at him. If he uses Water pulse, try to jump straight through the ring. Otherwise, just charge on through, and hit him with a beautiful Low Kick. |
The latter.
~~~ Snorunt pants and stares right at Machop. A ring of water begins to form in front of him and Machop rushes forward straght through it. Snorunt drops the attack in surprise and gets nailed with Machop's foot, knocking him out handily. Steve: Dammit! Snorunt, return. You win this time Jeffie, but next time not be so lucky! Steve then runs off, dropping some cash, the feather, and something odd looking as well. Level up for Machop + $400 + Rainbow Feather + Choice Band Well, by now you probably want to get the hell out of this forest. There's a path that you haven't taken yet, as well as the one you took to get here. Which one do you follow? |
Take new path! It is new and exciting!
|
Exciting
and new path gets you out of the woods quite handily. I suppose at this
point you'll want to do somethings like going to the next town, or
fighting a wild pokemon, or finding a trainer to battle.
A: Go to next town (you have to tell me what it is. I can't be bothered to figure it out) S: Fight a wild pokemon D: Finda trainer |
Off to the next town! (You shouldn't have to scroll up farther than my first post to find out that I'm near Violet town!)
